Halbtotal Filmproduktion was founded in 1994 by producer and director Andrzej Klamt. From the very beginning, the production company specialized in the production of documentary formats. Most documentaries are produced to order or in co-production with well-known broadcasters such as BR, WDR, HR, arte, 3sat, canal+ and ZDF. The spectrum ranges from reports for cultural magazines such as "Kulturzeit", "Foyer" and "Aspekte" to the production of feature documentaries for TV and cinema.
