The KFA Hamburg acts both as a mouthpiece on behalf of short film makers and as a mediator vis a vis user groups. The KFA Hamburg’s launch was based on the experience drawn from the Hamburg Short Film Festival (previously known as »No Budget«) and was inspired by the example of the French Agence du Court Métrage.
